This interface is for IAI administered accounts (i.e. IAI staff or scientific members) to change their IAI related passwords.
In addition it also enables activating or changing of some service dependent passwords for IAI / SGA provided services used by other users (e.g. stud) as well.
Those users authenticate with their Computer Science ID / Informatik-ID / GSG-Account (not to be confused with Uni-IDs such as s6...[@uni-bonn.de] or Ema.ilA@ddr!).
Yes, students and studentins - except for a particularly special sort of extraordinary case - do need a valid Computer-Science ID (GSG) and password to log in here!
As said before: no Uni-IDs (often prefixed with s[0-9], for example s6<first_letters_of_first-name_and_last-name>) here! Really!
